Hey guys! Just a little housekeeping:

• #sanderspartyof2 is invitation only (see previous post)
• please get those rsvps in (even if you do not plan to attend)

Here's the deal. I never realized how important it is to rsvp until I started this whole wedding planning process. Well, I did get a glimpse of "wedding etiquette" when my sister got married...but... I now see the light! I get it! Each night I ask for forgiveness for the [many] times I've forgotten to rsvp---or well yea...forgotten....especially when the couples purchase a STAMP for me! All I had to do was stick it in the mail...Lord I feel bad just typing this.

So, please get those in folks. We have to pay for a chair for you to sit in, a table for you to sit at, and food to nourish your sweet little soul. With that being said, we would love to give our vendors an accurate count.

We can not wait to share this day with the ones we love most!

Hashtag WEDDINGSTRESS

Well happy Tuesday to you too! The wedding is rapidly approaching and I am more than freaking out. At first, it was all cute and fun and then............ish got real. 

If you "follow the rules" and take things one step at a time, it truly can be fun. But then people get involved...and people...well....they are people. So, we are 46 days away from #sanderspartyof2 and I am just praying for an ounce of sanity. There's wedding planning, and football season, oh and let's not forget I have a job! Yes, my job requires a lot of work.... so, bare with me.

If I were granted one wish, I would ask that everyone be respectful of our wishes. Our wish [was] to have a small, intimate wedding. Yes, I do believe those exist....but then again, I also believe in fairytales or whatever. Sure, there are several people who we would/could invite, but we really want a small ceremony with family and close friends...those that know us, love us, and will pray with and for us as we begin our journey as one. No hard feelings...it's just what WE want. We created a budget for a reason. We made a guest list for a reason. We ask that you respect our wishes.

All I want is to marry my Joey and live happily ever after. I'm just that simple.

It's my birthday! I should be overjoyed,  right? Well, not to be a debbie downer,  but today as been bittersweet. I'm out of town on business. I absolutely love birthdays.  I mean, who doesn't like getting all the attention...at least for one day. Most of my birthdays are spent with family and friends, and I think that's exactly how it should be.

But today...today is bittersweet. Besides the fact that I'm out of town,  1 year ago today, Joey asked me to take his last name. ..to be his wife. So, do you see why I'm a little down?  Don't get me wrong, I'm so thankful to see 26...I suppose I just wish I were with the ones I love most.

But anyway,  I'm so thankful for all the birthday love!  I plan to rock 26 like none other. So, buckle your seat belt and join me as I navigate through my 26th year of life.
