23 days. 23 days until my sister marries her best friend (besides me, of course). 23 days until my sister changes her last name from Hill to Burse. 23 days and my sister will no longer be Ms., but Mrs. 23 days until my sister goes from daughter/sister/friend to daughter/sister/friend/WIFE. 23 days....wow. So many thoughts have crossed my mind these past few weeks. For the sake of tears, I'll save those thoughts for my toast!

The past few weeks have been very busy, stressful at times, but nonetheless...FUN! I wouldn't trade a minute of it..puffy eyes, headaches, cast, and all.

On August 25th Creston & Nakeitra had a couples shower in Jackson, MS. I owe ALL props to Creston's mom and sisters...they did an AMAZING job with the set up and food. Guests traveled from near and far to shower these two love birds with gifts for their life together. I think it's safe to say they pretty have EVERYTHING they may possibly need...and the wedding isn't even here yet!! How blessed are they??

Now, after the lovely couple received all of their gifts from guests in Jackson, the bride-to-be traveled to Corinth for one more shower! Thanks to all the ladies of the church, family, and friends who helped make this day nothing short of special. We ate, drank, laughed, played games, and simply enjoyed each other's company. We kicked the men to the curb and had an afternoon with the ladies. Once again, Nakeitra received more than enough gifts...tremendously blessed.
