RANDOMOSITY

Hey Y'all! 

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Thank God it's Friday!

Work has been craaaazy in preparation for the 2014 Mississippi State University Women of Color Summit.  Although it's a very busy time at work, I am forever grateful for the experience.  

While today's post is suppose to be a trip down memory lane, I'll save it for Monday. In the meantime, enjoy a few random facts about me.  You may find them weird, and I'm perfectly okay with that.  It won't be the first or last time someone has referred to me as peculiar :)  I'm the person that always has a random fact during introductions. Well, here ya go!

1. I can smell freckles.  Don't ask me how or why.  Just know it's a God given talent.

2. When I see a flock of black birds I get chills--it seriously freaks me out.  I'm thinking about seeking help.

3. I despise odd numbers.  It's killing me to number these! 

4. I use lotion like it's going out of style.  Seriously, I should go down in the Guiness Book of World Records.  I can use a bottle (large) in a week..less than a week sometimes. 

5. I knew I would date Joey when I first met him.  I knew I would marry him when he told me his favorite movie was American Gangsta. (we straight thuggin like that)

6. I learned the alphabet backwards in 4th grade.  [Thanks to Amy Woodhouse]

7.  I gag anytime I hear someone say the word ......bologna. PLEASE don't use this against me.

8. I have OCD like a mug---meaning, I can smell germs. Again, another God given talent.

9. Some people say I have this strange accent that no one else in my family has.  Personally, I don't think I sound any different from the next, but I'll let you be the judge.  Either way, I take pride in my DiSTinct voice.

10. I can't hold my arms straight up besides my head (use your imagination) The furthest they will go is like near my eyes.  This is also hard to explain so if you catch me in public, I'll be more than willing to show you:)
